Meeting Notes
Last night at our meeting we finalized our Annual Financial Report. We also started making plans for the Veteran's Day parade. We currently don't have the details but will post them as soon as we receive them. Several members are also planning to attend the FSU Veteran Day Breakfast and Celebration.
If you're interested several of our members arrive at 5PM to enjoy some time to socialize and have dinner before the meeting.

DAV Big Rapids Chapter 18 hosts "Visit with a Veteran"
Visit with a Veteran
On the first and third Thursdays from 9:00am - 11:00am the members of the chapter will be hosting members of the community and veterans to meet, relax, and network.
This will be held at the DAV hall at 402 N. Michigan, Big Rapids.

Regular meetings are the second Thursday of each month starting at 6:30PM.

Founded in 1933, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 18 has been serving our communities for over 90 years. Our organization was established to address the growing need for assistance veterans and their families.
We are just one of many chapters in the state of Michigan.

We offer a variety of programs and services to meet the needs of the veterans of the community, including emergency financial assistance, transportation, and a service officer to assist with VA claims. Our goal is to assist veterans and their families to live a better life.
