DAV Big Rapids Chapter 18 hosts "Visit with a Veteran"
Visit with a Veteran
On Thursdays from 8am - 11am the members of the chapter will be hosting members of the community and veterans to meet, relax, and network.
This will be held at the DAV hall at 402 N. Michigan, Big Rapids.
Funeral Service for David Thorson will start at 1:00 pm June 6th at Pine Plains Cemetery 13910 New Mill Pond Rd in Big Rapids. The memorial will start at 3:00 pm on June 6th and at the Morley American Legion address 2560 Northland Dr.

Regular meetings are the second Thursday of each month starting at 6:30PM.

Founded in 1933, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 18 has been serving our communities for over 90 years. Our organization was established to address the growing need for assistance veterans and their families.
We are just one of many chapters in the state of Michigan.

We offer a variety of programs and services to meet the needs of the veterans of the community, including emergency financial assistance, transportation, and a service officer to assist with VA claims. Our goal is to assist veterans and their families to live a better life.
