
At our last meeting we discussed and approved the merger with Chapter 39 Inland Lakes. The staff of the Department of Michigan will be processing the documents and transfers to complete this transaction. Once completed our chapter will have approximately 600 members.
It will also expand our chapter's area from the Kent County north to Grand Traverse County, east to Muskegon County, and west to Midland County.
Disabled American Veterans Chapter 18, the organization is dedicated helping veterans and their families to live a better life.
Regular meetings are the second Thursday of each month starting at 6:30PM.
Founded in 1933, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 18 has been serving our communities for over 90 years. Our organization was established to address the growing need for assistance veterans and their families.
We are just one of many chapters in the state of Michigan.
We offer a variety of programs and services to meet the needs of the veterans of the community, including emergency financial assistance, transportation, and a service officer to assist with VA claims. Our goal is to assist veterans and their families to live a better life.
